Futangue Park is a native forest conservation project located in northern Patagonia, at the foot of the Andean mountain range. The park is open to the public and offers tourists numerous diverse activities and open-air excursions, based around more than 100 kilometers of hiking trails.
We are committed to the protection of the Valdivian forest ecosystem. We believe that consciousness and respect for forests and admiration for the life they shelter is achieved by those who are able to experience all it's majesty at first hand. Our objective is to make the Park an important contributor to the conservation of Chile’s natural heritage, to environmental education, academic investigation and the local community it is part of.
The Ranco Foundation is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to protect the native forest, to promote environmental education and to support the local community. The Foundation voluntarily and unreservedly places access to the Park and the use of its infrastructure at the service of the entire community as well as to public and private institutions related to conservation, environmental education, academic investigation and different social initiatives.
