TREKKING POLLOIHUE LAKE

The trail begins at the Queñe Volcano lookout, with spectacular views of the entire Riñinahue valley. Then it goes into the native forest and as it climbs up the mountains, you will see some of the most impressive landscapes in southern Chile. The first great milestone of this excursion is “The Shark Fin”, a colossal rock that rises on the mountain, with 360 ° views of all of Ranco Lake and the Andean cordillera. You can continue walking until you see the lonely Polloihue Lake, a vestige of a glacier dramatically nestled under steep hills, at 900 meters above sea level.
