The Patagonia is exquisite not only because of its magnificent landscapes but also because of its peerless flavors.
The native forest provides a variety of gastronomic ingredients to prepare marvelous recipes that you will find nowhere else. Of particular note are the flavors of the Chilean myrtle, which is found in the park, and the berries typical of the south of Chile, like the Chilean guava berry and Chilean wineberry, ulmo (elm) honey and Winter’s bark pepper. We also offer wild mushrooms, native potatoes and vegetables from local orchards. Moving toward the Pacific Ocean, we also serve savory shellfish from the coast of Valdivia.
Getting to Futangue Park
Futangue Hotel & Spa is in the River Region, in the municipality of Ranco Lake, at Km 22 on Road T-85 to the town of Riñinahue, where the main entrance to the park is. The second entrance to the park is at Cerro Mayo, at Km 14 on the same road, across from the Pitreño Rural School.
