This trail through the native forest will, with a bit of luck, reveal Darwin’s Frogs, now considered to be in a vulnerable state of conservation. One particularity of these amphibians is that after the female lays eggs, the male swallows them and keeps them inside his mouth. Once the tadpoles have completely developed, they are released into the world. This behavior is unique in the animal kingdom.
