This is the great trekking adventure in Futangue Park for people looking for a challenge. It starts at a lookout onto different volcanoes. As the trail enters the native forest and climbs the mountain, you will be witness to some of the most impressive landscapes in the park. The great milestone in this excursion is the “Shark’s Fin,” a colossal rock rising out of the mountain and providing 360º views of Ranco Lake and the Andes. You can continue as far as the secluded Polloihue Lagoon, a glacial vestige dramatically embedded in steep mountains.
